New Hyundai i30N – Unparalleled Performance

The first word in high-performance cars, the Hyundai i30N has been developed to reintroduce the world to Hyundai’s sports vehicle N division! Based on the award-winning third-generation i30, even the i30N base model brings a whole new level of features, comfort and control to the South African performance vehicle market and delivers a “hot hatch” experience that is second to none. Designed and built from the ground up by the Hyundai’s engineering team in Korea and put through its paces and proving itself on Germany’s Nürburgring, the i30N offers driving exhilaration both on the road and on the track!

The entire chassis of the i30N has been redeveloped to offer some of the very best driving characteristics, and this includes suspension, steering, brakes and tyre upgrades, which when combined with the total system kilowatt output of 202kW’s and Torque output of 353Nm the Hyundai i30N base or top model becomes a driving enthusiast’s delight.

Safety, as always, is paramount when it comes to a Hyundai vehicle, and the i30N is no exception! It comes standard with seven airbags as well as a rearview camera and a Front and Rear Park Assist System. There is also ISOFIX Child Seat Attachments at the back, which means the i30N doubles as a great family vehicle as well!

Pure Driving Pleasure!

The Hyundai i30N is absolutely sensational to drive! It has both ability and grip but is still essentially so much fun to drive. It literally lifted the mood of this vehicle reviewer and made even the dull school run so much more exciting. But it’s not just the driver who scores in the New Hyundai i30N, because it is packed full of safety and comfort features that make even the longest drives an absolute joy. These features include but are not limited to, an Infotainment System with CarPlay, Bluetooth with Voice Recognition, Climate Control, Electric Windows at both the Front and Rear and Leather and Suede Seat Covering. This is further enhanced by Depowered Driver and Passenger Airbags, Front Thorax, Pelvis and Curtain Airbags, a Drivers Knee Airbag and ISOFIX Child Seat Attachments. In fact, these safety features are so good that the i30N is more than capable of doubling up as a family vehicle, although be it a VERY sporty one. It even has a Boot Capacity of 381dm3, which also adds to its family appeal.

So Is The i30N a Good Car?

Absolutely yes! It is in this humble vehicle reviewers opinion one of the best hot hatches to be released by any automotive manufacturer. This is due in part to its Hyundai N heritage, which has been further enhanced by the leadership of Hyundai’s N boss Albert Biermann, who is the former BMW M Division chief. But don’t simply take my word for it, I strongly suggest that you book yourself a Hyundai i30N test drive and enjoy the sporty exhilaration for yourself.
