Hyundai H-1 Bus: Carrying Style

Whether you are taking the entire family on holiday, the kids and the dogs to the beach, or transporting the football team, in the H-1 Bus you are doing it in style and comfort.

With eight seats and still plenty of room in the back for kit bags or cooler boxes, driving in the H-1 Bus means that you will be driving the family or kids in spacious comfort.

Or select the H-1 MultiCab with 9-seats and even more storage space at the back making it perfect for business and tool transport.

With a cabin that provides 9 or 12-seat comfort levels traditionally only associated with passenger cars and stunning full-length side windows, your passengers will love being driven around as much as you love driving!

Whether you have the 2.4 Multi-Point Injection or 2.5 Common Rail Diesel, the H-1’s 125kW of power and 392Nm (CRDi) of torque means that the H-1 won’t lose power on the uphills or when it is fully loaded.

Because the H-1 has been built with safety in mind from the earliest design stages, you know that your family and children are protected with the H-1’s front and rear crumple zones, side-impact beams, and driver and passenger airbags.

Long Journeys Are a Cinch!

With now up to 12 bums on seats (model variant dependant), the comfort levels and easy driving style of the H1 Wagon make this the go-to vehicle for bigger families that like to travel. Granny, Grandpa, Mom, Dad and all of the kids (and even pets if you like to travel that way) can be accommodated with ease with no change in the way that the H1 handles over long road trips.

Safety ALWAYS Comes First

The H1 Wagon is a family car, and as can be expected with a Hyundai vehicle safety is of primary concern. This is why the H1 People Carrier comes standard with Driver and Passenger Airbags, ABS with EBD, Rear Fog Lights, Side Impact Protection Beams, Remote Keyless Entry & Alarm, and Child Locks on all Rear Doors.

Fuel Friendly and Reliable

With fuel consumption figures (see below this review for a detailed breakdown) as good as the ones we’ve experienced, we think that this is the perfect vehicle for people with large families who are wanting to cut their daily costs of travel. Added to this is the fact that the H1 Wagon comes with a 5-Year / 90 000 km Service Plan, which again helps to keep the costs of owning a large vehicle such as this down when it goes for a service every 15 000 km.

H1 Wagon – The Results are In

If you’re wanting a vehicle that is perfect for big families, while also providing exceptional levels of comfort and safety, then we cannot recommend the H1 any more highly than we already do. However, you need to remember that this is a big vehicle. Although it is nippy when it needs to be it still takes some getting used to if you’ve only ever driven a car. But once you get used to the raised driving position and feeling of power from the punchy 2.4L Petrol and 2.5L Diesel Engines you’re going to be hooked for life.

The Hyundai Bus Fuel Consumption Figures are Impressive!

Hyundai H1 Wagon Fuel Consumption*

Perfect for transporting between 9 and 12 people, the H1 Wagon is powered by your choice of either a 2.4 Multi-Point Injection or a 2.5 Variable Valve Timing-Intelligence engine. Offering plenty of power and torque whenever needed, there is no reason to struggle uphill with your passengers when you purchase either one of the H1 Bus engine options available in South Africa. For such a versatile and powerful transportation vehicle, the Hyundai H1 also offers a reasonable fuel economy, starting at an average of 9.8 litres per 100 kilometres.

Consumption rates Litres per 100 kms CO2 Emissions
