Television’s longest running automotive series, MotorWeek has just announced its annual Driver’s Choice Awards at the Chicago Auto Show and for the second year in a row, the Hyundai Accent was named ‘Best Subcompact Car’.
MotorWeek’s Driver’s Choice Awards have been honoring vehicles in various categories since 1983 and is considered one of the industry’s top achievements. This year over 150 cars, trucks and utility vehicles competed in 13 lifestyle categories. A panel of 15 judges evaluated the vehicles from a buyer’s point of view and took practicality, performance, fuel efficiency and total value into consideration.
The Hyundai Accent again impressed the judges to receive its second Driver’s Choice Award at the 2013 ceremony in recognition of its dependability, safety, styling, technology and overall value for money.
