Hyundai has just revealed its brand new 2012 Azera at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show which is set to be launched in February next year in the States. The sleek and stylish Hyundai Azera was in fact one of the first cars to mark Hyundai’s move to deliver more up market products.
Though it might have been overshadowed by the popular Genesis, Sonata and Veloster in the past, the new Azera holds its own. It features Hyundai’s iconic ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ design language and has replaced its previous anonymous image for a bigger and bolder style statement.
Under the hood you’ll find a 3.3L GDI V6 engine that will churn out a powerful 293hp (or 218kW) and 255lb-ft (or 345Nm) of torque while its 6-speed automatic transmission features an ‘Active Eco’ mode that allows the Azera to achieve a projected 20mpg for city and 29mpg for highway driving – a 5% improvement from its previous generation’s fuel efficiency figures.
